The time when a lamp only needed to illuminate is over. With LED lighting, more and more practical functions have emerged to support daily life and adapt the light to mood and activity. At Briloner, our team develops new lighting ideas and trends daily to provide you with the most suitable lighting for your life. This is why our motto is: Light inspired by life, which means light inspired by life.
In this category, you will find all lights with additional functions summarized. We are happy to help you choose and provide advice through our specialist staff.
Our Lighting Functions Explained:
The most popular additional feature in lamps & lights is probably dimmability. Dimmable lights can be adjusted in brightness or light intensity. For example, you can dim the light to a cozy 40% for dinner or down to 10% for relaxing. Dimmable lamps are categorized as stepless or step dimmable, which describes the transition of brightness. Our lights labeled as dimmable have an integrated dimmer or dimmable light source.
LED lights with CCT color temperature control can be adjusted from warm white light at 3000 Kelvin to cool white light at 5300 Kelvin. The color temperature determines the mood and atmosphere in a room. You can adjust the light to suit everyday situations, for example in the living room with cozy warm white light in the evening, or clear neutral white light in the kitchen for cooking. The settings can be conveniently selected via a remote control.
The RGB color change control, as the name suggests, works with the RGB colors red, green, and blue, from which every other color is formed. With these lights, you can choose from many colors in the RGB spectrum to create a great lighting atmosphere. If you associate colorful lights only with parties, we can provide some inspiration. For example, yellow light improves mood, green light is relaxing, and blue light stimulates creativity.
Sensor lights have an integrated motion detector that turns the lamp on when motion is detected. This function is well known for outdoor lights but is also very practical indoors. Sensor lights can be installed, for example, in entrance areas when your hands are full with shopping and you cannot reach the switch, or in basements that do not need constant lighting. The detection range and the light duration can be individually adjusted.
